The 1930 Model Ford pick-up truck that Jack Daniel’s built

You’ve seen the TV ads – ‘Jack lives here’. Now check out what Jack drives. This is a 1930s Model Ford pick-up truck that has been painstakingly restored by the guy better known for crafting a drop of Tennessee whiskey

The car itself was built back up from scrap. Luke Brand of Brand Speed Chop & Custom, in Traralgon, Victoria took up the project for Jack Daniel’s and began the restoration process from this.

Nothing was overlooked when it came to restoring the classic Model Ford pick-up.

The frame was stripped down, a new chassis fitted and cabin built, along with fresh panels, wiring and assembly.

The whole vehicle then had to be pulled apart again for paintwork before being re-assembled and made roadworthy.

It took three months and 1,100 man hours to turn it into this.

The end product features a 5.7 litre American Chevrolet engine with Turbo 350 transmission and is valued at over $160,000. That’s one pick-up we would really, really like to own.

Luckily, you can be in with a chance because Jack Daniel’s is giving it away. Entry is via purchase of a special promotional pack of Jack Daniel’s and closes February 28… of course you have to be over 18 to buy Jack Daniel’s!
