It’s an iconic name, an iconic brand, and after 125 years it’s something worth of celebration. The Bundaberg Distilling Co will soon launch its “most exceptional rum to date” to celebrate.
Created to represent the pinnacle of the 125 years of achievements by the Bundy Rum company this drop is made for the most dedicated fans of Bundaberg Rum.
The batch was the brainchild of the master craftsmen at Bundaberg Rum who together have over 500 years of rum-making experience.
What do you do to make one of Australia’s favourite rums into something different? You take the oldest and rarest rums ever produced at the Distillery – including a 35 year old rum which was set aside for this very occasion. After months of blending, testing and tasting you’ve got yourself an Anniversary drop.
The bottle then features a metal collar and a stopper with a hand-applied leather band, and it’s enclosed in a walnut wooden box alongside two crystal tumblers which carry the Bundaberg Distilling Co logo.
There will be just 1,888 numbered bottles of this Anniversary rum at 700ml, 3,000 125ml bottles and are available from selected retailers.
The 700ml bottle will set you back $1,250 with the 125ml bottle a more likely $125.
