Samsung’s curved screen Galaxy Round actually looks quite nice!

Samsung have yet another product in the successful “Galaxy” branded smartphone and tablet range – this time, for something completely different they are drawing on the concept of the curved TV to bring a curved display to your smartphone.  The advertisement for it – well, it’s strange

Available in Korea with no announcement of any global availability, the Round looks very much like the Samsung Galaxy S4, but perhaps with a more refined and in fact higher quality finish, but the big deal is the curved screen.  When held upright the phones left and right edges are curved out from the centre.

Take a look at this crazy Samsung commercial for the product, which seems to compare the phone to a host of other rounded or curved products.
