Polaroid goes Social with the Socialmatic connected camera

Polaroid is still around and they’re entering the social space with an Instagram looking connected camera.  While they may have been through rough times, Polaroid are now making a huge range of products and the new Socialmatic appeals to a very social and young demographic.

Polaroid Socialmatic Camera

A square front face and thin design with a 14 megapixel front and 2 megapixel rear camera, the Socialmatic is an android based smart camera.

Not only does it have 4GB internal storage for your photos, a 4.5 inch touchscreen and stereo speakers, this little baby features GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth as well as – wait for it, a Polaroid “Zink” 2×3 inch instant printer!

That’s one heck of an action packed camera.

So now, you can take a photo, or a selfie, Instagram it and print it all from the one device.  Very cool
