Just a week after the limited edition 20th Anniversary Playstation 4 console was announced, it seems Sony has sold out, and the less than loyal among the new owners have opted to profit by selling this stunning console on eBay.
Not uncommon with limited edition anything’s, the number of PS4 20th anniversary editions for sale is quite amazing.
It seems one has sold for over $20,000, another for $15,000 and there are plenty more with large numbers of bids and an average price of $2,000-$3,000.
That’s a 4-6 times profit on a sub $500 purchase.
In Australia none of the 20th Anniversary Edition PS4’s were made available to buy, but there are still some to win at Playstation Australia’s Facebook page.
