Apple TV is probably one of the most underrated but outstanding products in the tech world. A little over a $100, power and internet is all you need to connect and no other devices are required – with that you can access songs, TV shows, movies and now a range of apps for additional content like sport and streaming movies.
Just days after Fox Sports Australia added Fox Sports Now to the device, Stan today launched on Apple TV.
This means your teeny tiny Apple TV remote is now the controller to Australia’s “largest library of SVOD content” (Streaming Video On Demand) and you can watch it all on your big screen.
“Apple TV is a critical platform for leading streaming services and has always been a high priority in our development roadmap. Since launch we have received more requests from subscribers for a Stan app to be available on Apple TV than any other device,” Mike Sneesby, Stan’s CEO, said.
“We’re thrilled to be launching on Apple TV today and will continue to make Stan’s lineup of award-winning TV shows and blockbuster movies available on more and more devices.”
You can get it now on your Apple TV, and if you don’t have an Apple TV – they’re just over $100. Go get one. Binge your heart out.
Oh and parents – Stan has Octonauts, Dora the Explorer and more – trust me, it’s worth a look:)
