Apple keyboard, mouse and trackpad goes rechargeable – no more AA batteries!

While announcing that all iMacs are now 5K retina screens Apple tonight also snuck in a new product announcement – rechargeable Keyboard, Mouse and Trackpad. About bloody time I say.

The astute owner would have already invested in a Mobee solution to this but having it come from Apple means it’s going to really take off.

Your new Keyboard and Trackpad have a similar design to them with a wedge shape while the mouse looks identical except for the bottom where batteries once went.

With a month between charges, the lightning adapter used to charge them will come in handy in between time to charge and sync your iPhone:)

“Magic Trackpad 2” also features “Force Touch” which brings a whole new range of features to the Mac experience as we’ve seen from the new Macbook.

So, bye bye batteries, buy buy these new accessories.

Keyboard is $165, Trackpad $199 and Mouse $129
