In the mobile space it’s good to offer a headline deal to get attention, and it’s also good to offer competitive value for consumers. Boost has been doing that for some time and today announced a super competitive $30 recharge deal which offers a staggering 7GB of data.
Their plans are rather simple really, but it’s important not to get caught out. Boost offers a total “possible” data allowance, and what’s important is not to use that whole allowance in one week – because it is drip fed into your plan over the course of the recharge.
In essence, you get extra data to use on weekends. The new $30 recharge offers
With 40% of Aussie “millennials” suffering from a fear of running out of data this is music to their ears.
You get 3GB of data on your recharge to use as and when you like, but when the clock strikes midnight Saturday morning you won’t turn into a pumpkin, you get an extra 1GB of data for that weekend.
Over the course of your 28 day recharge usage, there’s 4 weekends, that’s 4 lots of 1GB data allotments taking you to 7GB in total for the recharge.
“Once again, we’re listening to our customers to improve our offers and give them more of what they want. We know our customers want more but we didn’t expect that 44% of Australian women would abstain from sex for a month in exchange for free data. So we are giving them what they asked for, and ‘treating’ them accordingly allowing them to live their connected lives free from data fears”, said Ian Blackhall, Chief Marketing Officer, Boost Mobile.
The offer starts today, and is available on the Boost Website or wherever you recharge your Boost plan.
