Record year for Lamborghini: Selling 3,457 cars globally

2017 was a good year for Lamborghini – recording record sales globally with almost 3,500 deliveries.

It’s the sixth year in a row their sales have grown and the USA has become Lamborghini’s biggest single market.

Putting it all in perspective, Lamborghini has just 135 dealers around the world, spread across 50 countries, and when you look back through the books the 2016 sales number is 2.6 times that which the company achieved in 2010.

The USA alone sold 1,041 cars, making it the biggest single market, followed by Japan, UK, Germany, Canada, the Middle East and China.

The 6,000th Aventador was sold with 1,104 sold in 2016, while the Huracán was delivered to 2,353 customers.

In 2016 Lamborghini has proven to be in excellent shape. The company delivered another record year in terms of sales and continued to outperform key business objectives. This new all-time high is once more confirming the substance and sustainability of our brand, product and commercial strategy. This is a real team achievement and it is all the more remarkable as we are at the same time preparing not only for new models in our super sports car range, but for a company-wide quantum leap in our product portfolio – the third model line,” says Stefano Domenicali, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
