Smartphone Wars: Huge range of new phones hitting the market

When it comes to that once every two year purchase of a mobile phone, for many it’s just a case of sign me up again and hand over the latest version of whatever it is I have now.  But seriously, if you examine the market you’ll find a wide range of great phones ready for your choice!

We’ll have full reviews as time rolls on, but for now take a look at some of the great new phones hitting the market for your business.

Samsung Galaxy S8

Class leader, trend setter, it looks the part. Bixby virtual assistant isn’t in Australia yet, but the new look, solid design and powerful performance, with added facial recognition unlock – face detection for selfies and IRIS scanning for security – it sure is packed with technology

LG G6

Featuring the same tall screen aspect ratio as the S8 this is a stunning looking phone, all the features you want – LG have done some cool things to the camera app to take advantage of the screen size and on the Telstra 2 Year deal you get a Free TV – folks, come on – great deal!

Huawei P10

Great looking phone, strange new fingerprint sensor placement, but a stunning probably best in class camera and great build quality

HTC U

HTC have opted to blow your mind with colour and design this time, the U Ultra and U Play feature a liquid look surface in Blue, Black and White.

It’s a great looking phone, the Ultra has a dual front screen like LG’s V20 did, and their operating system will get to know you over time and adjust to your use patterns.  At $799 and $1199 they aren’t cheap, but exclusive to Vodafone on some great plans

And More…

There’s the Axon 7, the Oppo R9s, the Huawei Mate 9, and of course, the elephant in the room, at some stage later this year there will be a new iPhone.
