Not so long ago, you could board an Etihad flight to Europe and connect to WiFi for the duration of the flight for around $26. Today, if you get on the plane then connect in-flight you’ll be up for a lower cost $21 access, but that will only get you 180MB of data. Trust me, that lasts about 60 minutes if you’re churning through emails and the web.
So here’s a hack for the business traveller you’re going to love. You can buy an unlimited access hotspot pass on a one to six month deal, for as little as $15.
One month access will cost you $21, but if you sign up for a six month pass it will come down to $15.
Consider a one week business trip to Europe. Last year it would have cost you over $50 to have WiFi on the plane there and back. Today, you can get that same access for just $15 – and use it on more than just those two flights.
