BlueAnt Pump Air True Wireless earbuds review: Wire-free goodness

There’s been no turning back ever since Apple removed the headphone jack from the iPhone 7 with both audio companies and consumers alike adopting wireless audio. Australian headphone developer BlueAnt is no different with the release of their Pump Air True Wireless earbuds.

These things are tiny, weighing in at just 4 grams and they are stored in a small plastic container that easily fit into a pocket. The container is also used to charge the headphones. Simply remove the headphones from the charging case and the power comes on and they connected to my phone immediately.

The headphones come with a good stock of ear tips that really helped me get a snug fit into my ear. They didn’t feel like they were going to fall out of my ear unintentionally.

Once connected, the sound pumps through. To get some great sound from such a small product is astounding. The Pump Air is perfect for listening to tunes and the snug fit will give people that train hard confidence that they won’t all out.

The call quality was pretty good when in a calm environment but I found that the person on the other end had some difficulty hearing me if there was a bit of wind around.

These headphones are no fuss and will do exactly what you need from them. At a price of $169.95 they are a solid mid priced option in the headphone market. You will find them retailing at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Tech2Go.
