See Jabra in your ears and Speak with Alexa

At CES in Las Vegas, Jabra were quick to announce three new products which will come to Australian ears this year.

The line up as always is focused on an audio experience that will aim to be a step above the competition. While Jabra have been in the audio industry for many years providing hands-free calling, listening to music and calls, today their next move is into the voice assistant.

Amazon has been clear that the Alexa voice assistant will speak to us in Australia early in 2018. With that in mind, these new products from Jabra are ready to use that software… without owning an Amazon product. If you’re out on a run and need to know the weather, make an appointment or control smart devices you’ll be able to do that with Amazon Alexa, Siri (on Apple devices) and the Google Assistant.

Meet the Elite 45e. They have been engineered for the best voice and music experience. The Elite 45e is for users who want the best combined voice and music experience in a headset with a discreet design. Unlike the next two this model has a wire connecting the two buds allowing the microphone to sit inline which in our experience provides a better quality conversation on the phone. This will be available in Australia from March.

The Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t are both focused on bringing you the best engineered true wireless voice and music experience without wires. The 65t includes one-touch access to Siri®, and Google Now™, new integration for Amazon Alexa on-the- go and has up to 15 hours of battery life (with cradle).

The Elite Active 65t earbuds have enhanced grip, through special coating, integrated accelerometer for tracking features and IP56 sweat, water and dust certification. These two models will help cater for whether you’re planning on using them in the office or on the run. These models will be available in Australia around mid 2018.
