Kia Picanto Australian Open Special Edition Arrives.

I’m a big fan of Kia’s baby Picanto as I recently and unashamedly told you. Now a special edition Picanto has arrived with Australian Open special edition styling.

The GT-Line I so adored has been taken up a notch with a fancier body kit plus suspension raised by 15mm. It’s been named the X-Line.

Kia Boss Damien Meredith said; “Since we first introduced Picanto into what we were warned was a dead segment, this little star has captured the imagination in a way which is nothing short of amazing,”

“It has not only revived the segment but regenerated interest every time a new model or derivative has been introduced. The X-Line is continuing that trend.”

The X-Line comes with all the same kit and power as the GT-Line but with the added benefit of both manual and automatic options. Drive away pricing will start at $16,990 for the five-speed manual and $17,990 for the four-speed auto.

However you do score the 15mm raised ride, new 16-inch alloy wheels, premium seats with red accents, unique steering wheel and shift knob, LED position lamps with DRLs, LED rear lights, special badging, dual exhaust tips and that new body kit.

Game, set, match.
