Kogan Mobile customers are sold on value, and they’re seemingly very happy on the Vodafone network – but there’s one thing Vodafone, Optus and Telstra customers have that Kogan Mobile customers don’t – International Roaming.
All that has just changed with the introduction of an International Roaming add-on pack. Customers can pay $15 a day for 1GB of Data, 100 sms messages and 30 minutes call time to and from 11 countries.
So – not that great when compared to Telstra, Optus and in particular host network Vodafone who offer $5 a day for your normal plan.
But, for those customers who are stuck and need their phone, or are on a short trip, perhaps the offset is the longer term value of the Kogan Mobile plan.
The countries included in the roaming deal are China, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand and of course the US and UK.
Roaming packs can be added before you leave, or by SMSing the word ROAM to 12612 while overseas.
