Belkin BOOST UP wireless charging dock review

It was only recently I discovered the wonders of wireless charging, simply because I updated to a compatible iPhone. As the Motoring Editor I can tell you there’s more and more vehicles on the market that use the Qi charging technology. But Belkin has created something pretty amazing, thanks to a 3-in-1 charging station that will juice up your iPhone, Apple Watch or USB-A enabled device.

The BOOST UP Wireless Charging Dock is a simple and unobtrusive device that ideally can sit on your bedside table, kitchen or even the office. Essentially, you’re ridding your life of two cables.

The dock is capable of 7.5W wireless charging which is the fasted speed iPhones can charge at. A separate Magnetic Charging Module allows you to wrap your Apple Watch around it, resulting in both your devices sitting upright with their screens within easy reach,

An older school 5W USB-A port is located on the back, perfect for charging AirPods or an iPad. Available in black and white the BOOST UP is compatible with iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR, iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone 8 and any Apple Watch.

The convenience does come at a price though via a RRP of $249.95 at Belkin.com/auJB Hi Fi with a Special Edition available in Apple Stores
