Rode announces Podcasting competition with $150,000 in prizes

They don’t muck around the folks at RØDE – going all in on podcasting after the successful launch of the Rodecaster Pro at the end of last year – they’re not running a global podcasting competition with huge prizes.

This is not just another podcast awards show though, think of it like a short film festival for podcasters.

Unless your podcast is already 1-2 minutes in length, you’ll need to create something specific for the competition.

There will be a Major Prize, Runner Up and a People’s choice award, all sharing in prizes like RØDE microphones and accessories; the RØDECaster Pro Podcast Production Studio; headphones from Urbanears; sound effects from Blastwave FX; software subscriptions from Adobe; tuition from SchoolOfPodcasting; SSDs from Angelbird, acoustic treatment from Primacoustic, and more.
