JBL Live 400BT & 650BTNC headphones launch with Google & Alexa built-in & Ambient awareness

JBL have released two new headphones with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in.

The JBL Live 400BT have a nice new look, a 24 hour battery life and a two hour recharge time.

One of the key features is “Ambient Aware” and “Talk Thru” technology, allowing you to hear what’s happening around you with the touch of a button, while TalkThru drops the music level down so you can hear your mates without taking your headphones off.

They’re still packed with classic JBL sound and come in a range of colours.

Sound at this level you might not expect for $150 – the JBL Live 400BT’s are $149.95.

Upping the features in the LIVE range are the 650BTNC’s. At $249.95 you get full active noise cancelling too.

The TalkThru and Ambient features are enabled with a tap of the left earcup.

“The JBL LIVE Series will disrupt the headphones market. With a massive line of different devices that carry the best features we have to offer, this new generation of headphones still maintain an affordable price point across the board,” said Marcus Fry, Brand Activation Director of JBL AUNZ at HARMAN. “We can’t wait to introduce this series to our customers and watch their one-of-a-kind music experience with JBL Signature Sound.”

App control for the noise cancelling and the EQ settings are a breeze.
