OPPO opens Customer Service Centre in Melbourne

If you think about the advantages the two biggest mobile phone brands in Australia have over the others – one big factor is after sales support & service.

Got a problem with your Apple device? Head to an Apple Store. Samsung? They’ve got kiosks and stores too.

But now, challenger brand Oppo is taking it to the streets with a brand new customer service centre in the Melbourne CBD.

It’s not quite a shopfront, being on Level 11 at 459 Collins Street (South Tower) in Melbourne.

Open Monday-Friday from 9am-5:30pm and Sat-Sun from 10am-5pm it’s perfect for CBD workers with an Oppo phone, or those who want to jump on a Tram to get their phone looked at.

The centre offers full repairs, and for those out-of-warranty you only pay for the replacement parts – no labour fees. Services can be booked online before you walk up, or just walk-in and get help.

Michael Tran the boss of OPPO Australia is excited by the direct to consumer support offer “We know that being without your smartphone can be frustrating, so the new centre is all about delivering speed and convenience to customers. Our team of on-site engineers can make most repairs on the spot and within an hour,”

It’s not a requirement to go to this store for repairs, existing retailers can still send devices in for repair, while any repair that’s not done on site at the Oppo service centre or is sent to Oppo from a retailer is returned to the customer’s home or store.

The new Oppo centre in Melbourne also stocks accessories, chargers and other items to suit your Oppo phone.

“Customers always come first, as evidenced by our back-to-back win of Canstar Blue’s “Most satisfied customers” award. Our team of dedicated OPPO specialists will ensure customers receive world-class, speedy service to get them back up and running in no time,” added Tran.
