It’s official! The rumoured October 15th date has been confirmed by Google this morning, inviting press to their annual Made by Google hardware event in New York.
Google promises to show off a ‘few new things’ made by the company. At the event we’re expecting to see the now almost completely leaked Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL phones with hands-free gestures and new face unlock, as well as an updated Pixelbook 2 Chromebook. A refresh of the Google Home Mini, to be called the Nest Home Mini is also expected with the speaker stopping by the US Federal Communications Commission last week.
The event will go live at 10am Pacific Time October 15th, that’s 1am AEDTon October 16th for those of us back here in Australia.
You’ll be able to tune in to see what’s announced with Google planning to live stream the announcement on YouTube, or we’ll have all the news here on October 15th.
