Turtle Beach Stealth 600 gaming headsets – keep your glasses and game on!

As someone who wears glasses there’s a persistent issue that can frankly be very annoying. It’s not constantly swapping from prescription sunnies to normal indoor reading glasses, the battle to keep them clean via those alcohol wipes or the fact I’ve lost about twenty of them.

No, it’s trying to wear them while using a gaming headset. Whenever I get the time to fire up the PS4 and jump online, it’s a legitimate issue that eventually wears you down and in the end is just distracting.

But a new set called the Stealth 600 feature Turtle Beach’s patented ProSpecs Glasses Relief System. What this means is softer foam in the ear cups just below the temple, where your frames sit.

Available for both PS4 and Xbox, the Stealth 600 feature great sound for this price bracket. The wireless connection to the USB dongle offers convincing surround sound. It’s pretty awesome to hear the car rapidly hunting you down in Gran Turismo Sport and in my case usually passing in such an immersive way. Grand Theft Auto is worth a play, just to hear the various words shouted at you from all directions.

It’s actually an eerie experience.

Plus, there’s the must have flip-up microphone for true online fun. Turtle Beach actually created the first ever console gaming headset, back in 2005, so the brand knows what it’s doing.

Here’s the full specs.
