At CES it’s hard to be heard, but Australian company Nuheara is making a noise with a bit of quiet, launching their IQBuds2 MAX with hybrid Active Noise Cancellation.
The new totally wireless earbuds will be launching at CES with devices starting to ship in March. They’re a next-generation product based on hardware and software advances made by Nuheara over the past year.
Using the app, users can refine the listening environment to fine tune their experience. Nuheara uses neural network system tuned by the NAL-NL2 hearing test for EarID to optimise their hearing augmentation engine while Speech in Noise Control (SINC) adds unique sound controls to let you set your personal preferences meaning to amp up a conversation you’re having while reducing background noise, or just hear your music better and now with Noise Cancelling, you can just enjoy silence.
Nuheara redesigned the IQbuds2 MAX from the ground up, with better dynamic drivers for improved sonic accuracy. A new design allows them to put more processing power into an earbud that’s also comfortable to wear.
The earbuds come in a magnetic charging case which gives you up to 32
hours of on-the-go hearing enhancement and 20 hours of Bluetooth streaming says Nuheara. They’re also water and sweat resistant so you can work up a sweat while wearing them.
At $399 USD they’re at the premium end of the market, however the experience of wearing Nuheara headphones has to be, well, experienced and you’ll likely be sold once you do. You will be able to pre-order the Nuheara IQBuds2 MAX from today through their website.
