Motorola G8 is heading to Vodafone on contract

After launching the Motorola G8 series locally in May, Motorola has announced the phone is now available on contract with Vodafone.

The Motorola G-series is their best selling line, and the features/specs vs price shows you why. The Motorola G8 is priced at $299 from Australian retailers, but will now also be available on a range of plans with Vodafone Australia in Neon Blue and Pearl White colour options for $299.

There’s a decent amount of power included with the Motorola G8 including a nicely sized 6.4” HD+ Max Vision display and is powered by a Snapdragon 665 with 4GB of RAM and 64GB built-in storage which can be expanded with microSD Cards.

Motorola has improved the camera setup on the G8 (over the G7) with a triple rear camera array. The camera setup includes a 16MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide camera with 119-degree field of view and a 2MP macro camera. For those wanting to take a selfie there’s an 8MP camera in a punch-hole cutout in the display.

G-Series phones have been at the front of the pack in battery life, and with a 4,000mAh battery promising up to 40 hours on a single charge, the Motorola G8 is no different.

As a bonus for customers, Motorola have advised that any new signups will score a bonus Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant, valued at $129 when you sign up on a selected plan.

If you’ve been looking at the Moto G8 and wanting it on a plan, then head over to the Vodafone website and chat to their online team.
