OPPO are bringing their new smartwatch and new wireless earphones to Australia

Electronics manufacturer OPPO has today announced their Wear OS powered OPPO Watch, as well as their range of Enco wireless earphones are heading to Australia. OPPO has also taken the opportunity to tease their new online store for wearables they’ll be launching this month.

OPPO Watch

The OPPO Watch was announced in India last month, but is making its way to Australia in two sizes – 41mm and 46mm. The watch is powered by Google’s Wear OS smartwatch operating system based on Android, and comes with access to all the Wear OS apps on the Google Play Store.

OPPO have packed their smartwatch with features including a 3D flexible hyperboloid display, which has thin bezels and allows for the 1.91-inch AMOLED screen to have a miniscule 72.76% screen-to-body ratio giving it an “ultra-frameless” design.

Design wise the comparisons are of course going to skew towards the Apple Watch, but if you like the Apple design, but not the requirement to use an iPhone then this is a great looking option.

The OPPO watch uses a Snapdragon Wear 3100 & Ambiq Micro Apollo3 SoC in a ‘Dual-Chip Endurance System’ for improved battery performance. The setup allows them to provide 36-hour use time on one charge, or up to 21 days in ‘Power Save’ mode providing only basic functions like time.

Recharging the watch will be fast though, with OPPO launching the watch with their all-new Watch VOOC Flash Charging technology. The Watch VOOC Flash Charging allows you to get a 46% charge from just 15 minutes of charging time, or a full charge in just 75 minutes.

The watch also includes five exercise sensors for exercise tracking. There’s also water resistance (up to 50meters for the 46mm and up to 30 meters for the 41mm), so you can swim and shower without worry.

OPPO Enco wireless earphones

OPPO is rounding out their wearables launch today with a new range of ENCO wireless earphones.

Available in three models OPPO says the Enco wireless earphone range brings ‘technological breakthroughs, undeniable elegance and comfort to boot’.

The range starts with the Enco W11 for $149, the wireless earbuds come with an IP55 rating so you can sweat you heart out in the gym while listening to great tunes.

The Enco W31 are the middle of the range option priced at $199, and come in Black with an IP54 rating which is still more than enough to cover you when you sweat it up in the gym.

OPPO Enco W31

The Enco W31 offers up to 3.5 hours of use, with a further 15 hours of use in the accompanying charging case.

Finally, the W51 is the top of the Enco range with a price tag of $249, and features to match.

The Enco W51 includes active noise cancellation (ANC) as well as an IP54 dust/water resistance rating. Available in either Blue or White, the Enco W51 offer a stylish option for TWS buds.

OPPO has included a triple mic setup on the W51 which can even remove wind noise up to 25km/h so your calls sound clear and professional.

OPPO is including both Qi wirless charging and fast charging with the Enco W51. The earbuds can get up to 3 hours of use with a 15-minute charge so you can get to the gym after a quick top up even if you forget to charge them.
