Do you realise how good a wireless mouse CAN be? Logitech MX Anywhere 3 changes everything

They say you don’t know what you don’t know.

For years I have just used the mouse that came with my PC or a few wireless giveaway mouses that I received in a conference goodie bag or two.

Then came a big day for me when I got to use a Logitech MX ANYWHERE 3 mouse.  I am not kidding; it was a whole new feel and experience with my PC.  The mouse fits in my hand like a glove, and suddenly I seemed to have so much more control on the screen.

Before you ask this is not a paid review but a genuine realisation that there was something better than what I have been using for 30 years. Who knew a mouse could have extra buttons to do stuff like scrolling sideways or fast scrolling.  I must have been living under a rock.

One of my favourite features is this mouse seems to work on any surface, so no more finding a piece of paper to use as a mouse mat when I am travelling. The unit comes with a USB dongle, but I have freed up a USB slot by connecting by Bluetooth.  Also gone are my days of trying to find some spare AA batteries as this baby will recharge from a USB C cable and last up to 70 days although I like the bit that says 1minute charge will give you 3 hours of use.

Some features it has, but I don’t need include the ability to switch between controlling 3 different computers and somehow cleverly copy and paste between them.  It will also support up to 4000DPI, which means you can change the settings to have really fine mouse control which would be useful for photo or video manipulation.

The Logitech® MX Anywhere 3 and MX Anywhere 3 for Mac are available from most retailers for under $130.
