EFTM Blokes Best 2020: Harman Kardon Citation 300

There’s bucketloads of speakers on the market, and just as much choice in smart speakers.

Harman Kardon’s Citation series is a hidden gem in this market. We’ve gone with Blokes Best – because your missus will be impressed with how it looks, and you’ll all be happy with how it sounds.

My favourite feature is the small touchscreen on top which shows album artwork for what’s playing, as well as touch-controls for all the settings, inputs and volume.

I’d take this over the Sonos 5 because it’s an open platform.

Airplay – Tick. Chromecast Audio – Tick.

Meaning you can play multi-room with other Citation speakers or with others from the ecosystem you’re in like AirPlay.

Worth having a listen to next time you’re in Harvey Norman.
