Aussies can now get a 90-day free trial of the Peloton App

The past 12 months have seen many of us turning to home workouts to not only relieve boredom but to also get our exercise fix. For some of us gyms are closed once again and for some they have found that home workouts work just fine for them. If you fit into either of this category, then leading interactive fitness platform Peloton has a solution for you.

For the first time the Peloton app is available in Australia and brings with it a 90-day free trial. Peloton promises to bring “the energy and benefits of studio-style workouts”, all in the comfort of your own home giving you the opportunity to workout wherever and whenever you want. It includes thousands of different classes across more than ten disciplines including strength, meditation, cardio, barre and more.

Each instructor-led workout comes with real time motivation and curated playlists from artists around the world and with so many workouts available they have made it easy to filter the workout choices by instructor, length, music genre or class type giving the user an experience tailored to their preference.

There is a social element with the ability to workout “alongside” Peloton’s global Member community (more than 5.4 million members) with Here Now functionality in every class, which enables you to give virtual ‘High Fives’ to other class participants. The app also gives you the ability to track your progress with various workout metrics.

Peloton Australia Country Manager, Karen Lawson said: “We understand how passionate Australians are about health and fitness, which is why we’re excited to launch a completely new experience in the market that is unique to Peloton.

Australians will get access to thousands of live and on-demand classes, from more than 30 global instructors, be it a barre class taken from home, a HIIT Cardio class by the beach or a guided meditation session in their backyard.

Following the 90-day free trial the subscription will cost $16.99 for access to all Peloton content, anytime and anywhere. The Peloton app will be available via iOS, Android and web, as well as Amazon Fire tablet and TV, Apple Watch, Chromecast, Android TV and Apple TV.
