IKEA and ROG are launching their new gaming range in Australia next month

IKEA and ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) announced their partnership to produce accessories, furniture and more late last year, and today the companies have announced the range will arrive in Australia from next month.

The IKEA and ROG gaming range includes six product families: UPPSPEL, LÅNESPELARE, MATCHSPEL, GRUPPSPEL, UTESPELARE and HUVUDSPELARE.

Of the new range, ASUS and IKEA collaborated on the UPPSPEL range which includes desks, cabinets, chairs and more, while the rest of the family of products were ‘developed by IKEA based on the insights and knowledge gained from the collaboration’. These series includes more furniture as well as accessories including Ring Lights, phone mounts, mouse pads, floor mats, neck pillows, and more. 

Speaking of the new range, Amanda Grant, Home Furnishing Business Leader for IKEA Australia said “At IKEA, our aim is to create a better everyday life for everyone. We’re constantly exploring the different ways people live and how we can enhance that. With millions of gamers across the country, we’re excited to be able to continue our exploration to offer affordable, high-performing products and complete solutions for all gamers”.

Kris Huang, General Manager of the ASUS Gaming Gear and Accessory Business Unit. said “Gamers globally know and love the ROG brand, and they trust it to deliver the most exciting gaming innovations in the market. Our new partnership with the experts at IKEA will allow ROG to find new and interesting ways to delight gamers in and around the home”.

The new range will land in IKEA stores in Australia from next month, and while the IKEA Australia website doesn’t have the range listed as yet but there’s a full range coming.
