BlueAnt X4 party speaker with Microphone heading to select Telstra stores this week

As the weather warms up and visitors are allowed into homes, the prospect of a few tunes outside is looking attractive. Australian audio company BlueAnt has announced their latest speaker, the latest in their X-series of bluetooth speakers, the X4bluetooth party speaker which is launching online and in Telstra stores around the country.

Priced at $299, the BlueAnt X4 delivers all the great features of the BlueAnt X5, including the built-in intelligent LED lighting system with five different light modes, and microphone in a lightweight, more portable form-factor measuring just 24x23x26cm and weighs just 2.6kg, which includes up to 12 hours of battery life and a carry handle to make it easy to move.

CEO Taisen Maddern says its the best sub-$300 Bluetooth speaker “The X5 is the best piece of audio equipment we’ve ever created, and the X4 is right up there with it at a lower cost and in a more portable form factor. This will be our most popular speaker and it launches in time for Australians to release a ton of pent-up party energy.

Though it’s compact in size, the speaker can still deliver up to 110dB of immersive sound with an option to pair up to 100 speakers into a fully functioning party system with the first speaker paired able to control the music, volume, and bass boost.

The party can really get going with the included colour matched microphone ready to let you sing your heart out with your friends and show off your best Karaoke number. It’s also splashproof, with an IP54 ensuring it can head out poolside as the weather warms up.

There are five great colour options to choose from: Black, White, Teal, Pink and Purple, with LED lighting for the on-board controls to make controlling the speaker easy even in low-light.

The X4 is available for pre-order at the BlueAnt website now, and from select Telstra Stores from October 12th.
