Epson launches EcoTank Home Office printers, an advanced printer for your home

Epson is one of the most well known brands in printers and following on from their new EcoTank Home printers they have released a more advanced EcoTank Home Office printer range.

The term EcoTank is used by Epson as they do not use ink cartridges in their printers, instead utilising a refillable tank that can be refilled using replacement ink bottles that are larger than the standard ink cartridges. As you would expect this helps to decrease the amount of waste products produced.

The new range includes four models — the ET-2811, ET-3800, ET-4800 and the ET-4850 — and are all “high-yield, multi-function models” and sit in a mid-level price point. the extra functionality they provide include a high-resolution flatbed scanner, a colour display, and wireless connectivity.

Not only does the new range have much more functionality than the standard EcoTank Home printers which are perfect for your kids’ school printing requirements but it supports Epson’s mart Panel app. The app allows the user to control all their printing purposes from their iOS or Android smartphone.

The Epson EcoTank Home Office printers include thousands of pages worth of ink in the box which would usually equate to many cartridges so you will be saving landfill using an EcoTank printer. The printers cost between $399 and $649 based on the functionality of the printer:

All models come with a one year warranty which is doubled if you register the printer with Epson. They are available now at the Epson website and from authorised Epson retailers. For more information head on over to the Epson EcoTank Home Office Printer website.
