For a pure gaming publication, this would be a tough debate – and if you’re a hard core gamer, feel free to disagree, but for us, FAR CRY 6 is the best game of the year.
Call of Duty is fantastic, and there’s plenty more. But when Far Cry hits with a new map, new story and new everything – it’s drop everything and play.
Far Cry wins for us because it has a great story line, and a great open world capability – you don’t need to follow the story, you can jump around as you like. I’m still not “finished it”, and may never. That’s what makes it so great.
For me, this was always going to be a winner. EFTM Best Award for Best Game – Far Cry 6.
