Motorola brings new Edge 30, Moto G82 and Moto E32 down under

After launching their latest flagship, the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, to Australia earlier this year and today Motorola has announced three new models, including the Edge 30 are heading to Australia from today.

The three models include the motorola edge 30, moto g82 5G and moto e32, with the 5G enabled Motorola Edge 30 and budget focused 4G Moto E32 available from today, while the Moto G82 will arrive in June. 

Motorola Edge 30

Leading the latest 5G enabled phones, the Motorola Edge 30 is a more budget friendly option than the flagship Pro model. The $699 phone still includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor and a gorgeous 6.5-inch OLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner. 

The Edge 30 offers a great option for either game play or media viewing, with the display capable of 144Hz refresh rate, as well as offering HDR10+ support and Dolby Atmos tuned audio. 

You’ll find plenty of power with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor with 5G support on-board, as well as 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

There’s s a triple camera array on the rear with a 50MP main sensor paired with a second 50MP sensor with ultra-wide angle lens which includes a macro mode, and a 2MP depth sensor. A 32 MP front camera Is included, sitting in a punch-hole notch in the screen.

The phone is powered by a 4020 mAh battery, with support for fast charging thanks to a 30W charger. 

On the phone you’ll find Android 12 with Motorola’s MyUX over the top offering some unique features like gestures to load the flashlight and more. Motorola has advised the Edge 30 will receive at least two major Android OS upgrades and three years’ of bi-monthly security updates.

You can pick the Motorola Edge 30 up in Meteor Grey from today for $699 from JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Big W, Mobileciti and the Lenovo online store. You’ll also be able to find it on Vodafone from the 14th of June. 

Moto G82

For those wanting a more budget friendly 5G option the Moto G82 5G offers 5G speeds for just $499. 

Featuring a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage, the phone includes a 6.6-inch FHD+ resolution AMOLED display capable of 120Hz refresh for gaming, or just smooth scrolling. 

A triple camera system includes a 50MP camera, 8MP 2-in-1 sensor offering ultrawide and depth sensing functions, and a 2MP macro sensor on the rear for taking close up shots from just 2.5cm away. 

The phone includes a massive 5,000mAh battery for all-day use and also includes support for the Turbo 30 charging. 

The Moto G82 is coming next month for 9 and you’ll be able to pick one up in Meteorite Grey or Lilly White from JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Officeworks, Big W, Mobileciti and the Lenovo online store.

Moto E32

For those looking for something classy, but on a budget, the Moto E32 offers a great option with a large 6.5-inch HD+ resolution display  with 90Hz refresh rate packed into a body which offers a water-repellent design – great for giving to the kids.

The phone includes an octa-core Unisoc processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB of on-board storage with a triple camera array on the rear including a 16MP main sensor, 2MP Macro and 2MP Depth sensor. There’s also an 8MP front-facing camera for selfies, or using the facial recognition option if you don’t want to use the fingerprint scanner. 

The Moto E32 also offers great battery life with a 5,000mAh battery packed in, and the phone capable of charging up to 18W. 

You’ll find Android 11 on-board, with Motorola’s MyUX skin over the top.
