JBL announce new Tour PRO 2 Wireless earbuds with Smart Charging case and Tour One M2 headphones

With IFA looming, JBL have announced a new set of wireless earbuds and headphones with their Tour series offering the Tour PRO 2 earbuds with an awesome new Smart Charging Case and a new set of premium over ear headphones with the Tour ONE M2.

Tour PRO 2

The new Tour PRO 2 wireless earbuds offer up a great number of new features from Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio to adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) – as well as an awesome new smart charging case which includes a 1.45” LED touch display that controls your audio experience and even messages, timers and more.

Starting with the Tour PRO 2 buds, they include awesome sound with 360 Spatial Audio thanks to 10mm High Fidelity Neodymium  drivers as well as JBL Pro sound and a customisable sound experience with their Personifi-fi 2.0 software.

The buds offer true Adaptive ANC which adjust to your surroundings on the fly, with a 6 mic design that also ensures crystal clear audio when you need to take a call.

But the highlight is the new smart charging case and the LED touch screen on the front which displays information including battery capacity of the buds and case, time and can even show messages – or just control the ANC or Ambient modes on your earbuds.

The smart charging case will also allow users attached to a PC or Mac to control ANC easily without a phone handy.

JBL says that the Tour PRO 2 earbuds will offer up to 40 hours of use, with 10 hours of use in the buds themselves which is pretty impressive, especially when JBL says that they’ve reduced the size of the buds.

JBL will be launching the Tour PRO 2 wireless earbuds in Europe in January for €249 in both Black and Champagne colour options, but we haven’t seen Australian launch details just yet.

Tour One M2

If over-ear headphones are more your style, the new Tour ONE M2 headphones will suit your style offering a premium sound with great features.

The Tour ONE M2 are also wireless using Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio support and use 40mm neodymium dynamic drivers JBL PRO sound tuning with 360 spatial audio – and JBL says their best ever hybrid True Adaptive ANC.

JBL have also solved the problem of having to pause your music, engage passthrough mode with a new Ambient Aware mode which reacts to your voice and automatically pauses your music and engages pass-through for you – then it resumes when the conversation is over.

They look to be extremely comfortable, with leather ear cups and come with up to 50 hours of playback (30 with ANC) but also include a fast charge option to get you up to 5 hours of use with just 10 minutes charge.

The Tour ONE M2 will also be launching in Europe in January for €299 and will also be available in Black and Champagne colour options. We haven’t seen Australian pricing or launch details as yet, but we hope to soon.
