At their Galaxy Unpacked event in New York, Samsung has announced their new Galaxy Z Flip4 and Fold4 phones alongside the new Watch5 series – but there’s also a new set of earbuds to complete the new range with the Galaxy Buds2 Pro announced offering a Premium Design with the Ultimate Listening Experience.
The new Buds2 Pro are Samsung’s new top-of-the-line earbuds, carrying on from the Buds Pro announced last year. As the name suggests, the new buds offer a Pro level, wireless listening experience, all bundled into a new compact, ergonomic design which is 15 percent smaller – while still allowing a secure in-ear fit.
On a technical level, the Galaxy Buds2 Pro offer Active Noise Cancellation to let you listen to music without interruption and support Hi-Fi 24but Audio with high-dynamic range. The buds also support Samsung’s new seamless codec (SSC HiFi) allowing you to transfer quality music without pausing.
The buds also support multi-device connectivity letting you answer calls while gaming on your Samsung TV, switching the audio connection seamlessly to your phone at the touch of a finger – or you can use the new Auto Switch feature to transition between them.
Samsung is also making use of their well established SmartThings network to make it easy to find your Buds2 Pro if you misplace them.
The Galaxy Buds2 Pro will be available in Australia from September in three colours: Bora Purple, White and Graphite – for 9.
