JBL flood CES with multiple new sets of TWS earbuds and new premium over the ear headphones

At CES 2023 JBL has announced expanded JBL TUNE and JBL VIBE ranges along with upgrades for the JBL TOUR and the Endurance series.  At this stage they have announced a total of nine different headphones across a variety of prices and use cases.

Affordable VIBE and TUNE series’

The new JBL TUNE series earbuds are built with JBL Pure Bass sound with all three offering active noise cancelling with Smart Ambient technologies to allow you to control how much of your environmental noise you want in.

The three new sets of earbuds, the JBL TUNE Buds, JBL TUNE Flex and JBL TUNE Beam also support multi-point connection meaning you can connect to more than one device at a time.  Buttons on the outside of the earbuds allow for control of phone calls or your music and include multiple built-in microphones.  All include Bluetooth 5.3 enabling each earbud to independently synchronize audio streams, as well as seamlessly broadcasting audio streams to multiple listeners.

All three TUNE buds will be available on the US JBL site for US$99.99 in black, blue and white in June 2023 so keep an eye out for them landing here around the same time.

The JBL VIBE series of earbuds announced, the JBL TUNE Buds, JBL TUNE Flex and JBL TUNE BEAM, are extremely affordable sets of earbuds with IP54 water and dust resistant rating.  They are lightweight and are design with an ergonomic style for a comfortable fit.  

The JBL VIBE Buds and Beam will be priced at US$49.95 and the VIBE Flex at US$69.95 when they arrive in February 2023.  Australian availability and pricing will be supplied when it comes to hand.

JBL Endurance Peak 3

For those after a more rugged and sports capable set of earbuds then they should check out the new JBL Endurance Peak 3.  Delivering IP68 rugged wave-, water- and dustproof rating the Endurance Peak 3 promise to be able to keep up with you no matter what workout you are partaking.

A total of 50 hours of playback is included (10h + 40h in the case) on a single charge along with JBL’s PowerHook design and TwistLock technology for a secure comfortable fit you can be sure these will stay put during a vigorous workout.

The JBL Endurance Peak 3 will be available in the US in February 2023 for US$99.95 in black and white.  Australian pricing and availability will be supplied when it comes to hand.

JBL Tour PRO 2 True Wireless Earbuds

For those who want and need a better quality sound in their true wireless earbuds there is the new JBL Tour Pro 2 earbuds.  These earbuds come with the “world’s first smart charging case” which includes a 1.45-inch LED display to control music, receive calls, message and social media notifications in real time without having to view them on your phone.

The sound is pretty good too thanks to JBL’s hi-res audio with 10mm dynamic drivers, smart ANC optimisation with the ear canal test and six microphones for clear audio in your calls.  Add in 40 hours of playback (10 hours + 30 hours or 8 hours + 24 hours with ANC), IPX5 water resistance rating, Bluetooth 5.3 and fast charge capabilities and you have a fairly comprehensive set of true wireless earbuds. 

Arriving in Spring in the northern hemisphere at US$249.95 in black and champagne colours they are not cheap but look extremely high end.  Local availability and pricing will be delivered once announced by JBL Australia.

JBL Tour ONE M2

True Wireless earbuds not your thing?  JBL also has something new for you with the JBL Tour ONE M2.  These over-ear headphones bring JBL’s best ever hybrid True Adaptive ANC which adapts to your surroundings in real time while delivering high quality sound through 40mm dynamic drivers.

With up to 50 hours of playback, or 30 with ANC activated, fast charging and a customised hearing profile, you can listen to audio designed to suit you, your anatomy and your environment.  The Tour ONE M2 headphones are a foldable design and weigh just 268 grams making them very portable.
