Samsung picks up Canstar Blue’s 2023 most satisfied smartphone customers award

With the launch of the Galaxy S23 series just over a week away, Samsung has picked up the Canstar Blue Award 2023 Most Satisfied Customers award in the smartphones category

The award is based on the feedback from 1,300 users surveyed by Canstar with Samsung beating out Apple, OPPO and Google with 5-star rating across all seven categories. Previous winners in this category, OPPO and Apple, managed to nab 5-star ratings in multiple categories, as did relatively new-comer Google who scored well in the Value for Money category.

The categories cover the gamut of categories including Durability, Design, Value for Money, Camera Quality, Battery and Charging Performance and User Friendliness, as well as Overall Satisfaction.

Garry McGregor, Vice President of Mobile Experience at Samsung Electronics Australia said of the award

“At Samsung, we strive to be the best in every element of the consumers Samsung experience. To be awarded this honour by Canstar Blue is truly humbling and I can promise we have an exciting journey ahead for our vastly growing Australian Samsung family.”

On why they believe Samsung did so well, Tara Donnelly, Canstar Blue’s Utilities Editor pointed at the wide range of devices Samsung offers across a variety of budgets, adding that they do so ‘without sacrificing quality features and specifications’.

Samsung also picked up Canstar Blue awards for TV and Home Theatre Systems categories for the second consecutive year, rounding out a good showing at the awards.
