Ring launch their most advanced battery doorbell, the Battery Video Doorbell Plus

Ring was founded ten years and, in the time since, they have expanded way beyond their first video doorbell. In keeping with their roots though they have continually improved and updated their video doorbell solutions, and their latest offering is just that, an improvement on an already market-leading product.

The new Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus includes all the old features that users have grown to love over the years including Customisable Motion Zones, Privacy Zones, Colour Night Vision, Advanced Motion Detection, Live View, Two-way Talk along with Quick Replies for times you are unable to answer the doorbell yourself.

The new features in the Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus include a new 150×150-degree field of view, allowing users to keep a closer eye on deliveries on their doorstep and with Ring’s Package Alerts you will know whenever you receive a new delivery. No more porch pirates.

The new doorbell also brings the highest resolution of any Ring battery doorbell at 1536p. The improved resolution brings crisper and clearer images of your doorstep, the surroundings, and all visitors.

All these new features would take a battery hit you may think but the new Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus features a battery life that is three times longer than the first Ring doorbell on the market. The battery life is extended thanks to new energy-saving features, but you can choose which of these you use so all the advanced features can still be used.

Compatible with Alexa, just like all other Ring devices, the all-new Ring Battery Video Doorbell Plus will be available in Australia on Ring.com and Amazon from 13 April for $289 AUD or with Ring Chime for $309 AUD.  Battery Video Doorbell Plus will be available for purchase from retailers in May in Australia and New Zealand for $289 AUD/ $329 NZD.
