OPPO launches 2023 Inspiration Challenge to help bring new and innovative solutions to life

OPPO Research Institute supported by Qualcomm, GSMA 5G IN, Amazon Web Services and LinkedIn has launched their 2023 Inspiration Challenge. The Inspiration Challenge aims to bring new and innovative solutions to life with the help of funding, support and partnership opportunities.

Applications for the 2023 OPPO Inspiration Challenge are open until June 30 with three events set to take place in Bangkok, Boston and Shenzhen in early August with finalists from each of these regional events invited to join the Inspiration Challenge Acceleration Camp where they will meet with OPPO execs and technical experts to revise their proposals before the global final event in late August.

All proposals are evaluated based on four main criteria — Feasibility, Technological Innovation, Long-term Potential and Social Values with 15 proposals from the regional events making it to the global final. The top 5 winning proposals at the global event will each receive a grant of up to USD $50,000. Further partnerships are open to the top 45 proposals worldwide.

Last year 536 proposals were submitted from around the world with OPPO since working with 18 of these teams to further implement their proposals. Some of these proposals made it to OPPO INNO DAY 2022 and MWC 2023.

The 2023 OPPO Inspiration Challenge will focus on the two categories of ‘Inspiration for People’ and ‘Inspiration for the Planet’, supporting technology professionals around the world to develop innovative solutions in these two areas.

If you have an idea that you think fits this criteria head on over to the webpage at 2023 OPPO Inspiration Challenge | OPPO Global to enter your proposal into the 2023 Inspiration Challenge.
