You can now grab the flippable Motorola Razr 40 for just $999! Yes, under a grand.

I’ve used flip and foldable phones enough to have formed an opinion that foldables are the way of the future but for many the price of them is inhibitive. Now the Motorola Razr 40 is set to shatter that glass ceiling dropping to under $1,000 from tomorrow.

For just $999 you will be able to purchase the new Motorola Razr 40 from all major retailers starting 21st July, 2023. We reviewed the Razr 40 Ultra last week and loved it and with the Razr 40 keeping many of the same foldable technology it is an impressive flip phone.

Offering an option for those wanting to get away from technology, the Motorola Razr 40 offers an option with a smaller 1.5″ display on the front, as well as coming in at a cheaper price while still including the teardrop hinge and large 6.9″ FHD+ pOLED HDR10+ LTPO internal display.

Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the Razr 40 also includes 8GB of RAM, though DDR4 and 256GB of on-board storage. There’s a slightly larger 4200 mAh battery in the Razr 40 which should see you easily through the day, and it also supports 30W TurboCharge and Wireless charging.

The Razr 40 does get a larger main camera sensor with a 64 MP sensor paired with the same 13MP Ultra-Wide sensor with MacroVision. The Razr 40 also has the 32MP selfie camera available when you open the phone.

Motorola are making the Razr 40 available in three colours in Australia: Sage Green, Vanilla White and Summer Lilac, all of which come with an eco-friendly, stain resistant vegan leather finish.

Head into your local retailer or shop online and grab an attractive flip smartphone for just $999 from tomorrow with the Motorola Razr 40.
