EFTM BEST AWARDS 2023: BEST HOME SECURITY

The array of Home Security Options right now is tremendous, and I say that both from a feature and competitiveness sense. Which makes this an important award for sure.

I was doing a segment just this week on The Today Show and had so many brands! Eufy, Ring, Google, Swann, Uniden and Arlo.

Each of them has something great to offer the market from a product perspective, and together that weight of numbers seems to be putting pressure on the entry price which is only a good thing. I’ve always said an affordable first security camera is like a “gateway drug” to the addiction that is Home Security.

It’s primarily for that reason we’ve leaned all the way toward the new Arlo Essential range for the Home Security award this year.

Arlo is already a market leader, and has a strong product portfolio, with much more to come. But their new Essentials Cam, Doorbell and Indoor Camera are all priced sharply for the brand and offer fantastic features.

The combination of an aggressive standard retail price (let alone the discounting that happens) and the sleek new design and consistently strong features makes this a winner.

It’s the Arlo Essentials range for us that wins the EFTM BEST Award for BEST HOME SECURITY.
