As folks return to simpler times, opting for “dumb” phones to try to focus on actually living their best life, HMD are releasing more options for these people with a return to the glory days of Nokia.
The iconic Nokia 3210 is back, 25 years later, available in Scuba Blue, Grunge Black and Y2K Gold for just RRP$129. Alongside the 3210 HMD has also re-launched the Nokia 215, 225 and 235, all 4G phones available in bold colours.
The Nokia 3210 is the real headline here with its retro 1999 design that we all loved back then. As it used to, the 3210 will give your an extremely long battery life with the 1450mAh battery promising days of use without having to charge it.
The questions on all of your lips though is “does it come with snake?” It does indeed. It also has a 2MP camera to capture images reminiscent of the year 2000.
Lars Silberbauer, CMO of Human Mobile Devices (HMD), said:
“The Nokia 3210, a cultural icon, is back at the pinnacle of global dumbphone boom as consumers look to balance their screen time usage with a digital detox. The Nokia 3210 has simplicity at its core, allowing consumers to be totally present. Forget dumbphone, this is 2024’s fun phone.”
Brenden Folitarik, Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand, said:
“At HMD, we’re all about blending the best of both worlds, the convenience of smartphones and the sheer fun of unplugging! We are excited to re-introduce the iconic Nokia 3210 to a new generation! It’s not just a phone; it’s a time capsule of fun! With this blast from the past, say goodbye to screen time stress and hello to being in the moment.”
