ASUS unveils new CoPilot Plus PC models across TUF, ProArt and Vivobook range

After announcing their first Copilot+ PC last month, ASUS have unveiled a complete range of new AI powered machines across their TUF, ProART and Vivobook series. 

The new range of ASUS Copilot+ PC’s is making use of the newly announced AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, capable of up to 50 Trillion Operations Per Second (TOPS). ASUS are also offering the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Laptop GPU as an option on some models, offering an astonishing 321 TOPS. 

ProArt

For creators, there are three new ASUS ProArt laptops in three form factors. The new ProArt series includes the 16-inch ProArt P16 clamshell and the 13-inch ProArt PX13 powered by AMD’s newly announced AI capable CPUs, as well as the 13-inch PZ13 detachable based on the AI-enabled Snapdragon X series Platform.

The new ProArt models include a load of power, yet have thin and light design profiles. 

The 16-inch ProArt P16 laptop coming in a premium-feel black chassis that’s just 14.9 mm thin and 1.85 kg light, while the ProArt PX13 convertible weighs in at just 1.38 kg and comes with a 360° hinge that allows seamless flipping between laptop, tent, stand or tablet modes and lastly the ProArt PZ13 detachable laptop weighs in at a miniscule 0.85 kg.

The Copilot+ series of ProArt laptops, will include AI capabilities like the StoryCube and MuseTree applications for managing digital assets and generating creative ideas, as well as a 6-month membership for CapCut offering a flexible editing workflow, magical AI tools, and a stock library. 

Vivobook

For the younger crowd, ASUS are building on their already launched Vivobook S15 Copilot+ PC with a refresh of the 2024 models in the Vivobook family. 

The 14-inch Vivobook S14 (M5406) with 14-inch display, the 15.6-inch Vivobook S 15 (M5506), and the 16-inch Vivobook S (M5606) all now have refreshed specifications and slimmer and lighter designs starting at just 1.39cm thin and weighing from 1.3kg, are all available with up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor. 

The new Vivobook PC’s will offer up to the latest AMD Radeon graphics, and up to 32 GB LPDDR5X memory on board with plenty of fast storage available with up to 1 TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The thinner, lighter design will offer enhanced cooling thanks to the ASUS IceCool thermal technology, which now features two heat pipes, two 97-blade IceBlade fans, and two air vents.

The new Vivobook series will include the new Windows Copilot+ AI features including Recall, their tool to track down projects, apps, documents, or messages you’ve previously worked on by using a simple prompt. 


For the refreshed 2024 Vivobook models, ASUS says they’ll be bringing the Copilot+ AI features to the Vivobook S 15 on June 18, with the rest of the models receiving a free update to Copilot+ PC experiences when available.

TUF

Gamers will see their first hints of AI on their ASUS machines, with the 14-inch TUF Gaming A14 and the 16-inch TUF Gaming A16, both powered by up to an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and up to NVIDIA RTX 4070 Laptop GPUs, and powering 2.5K resolution displays at 165Hz. 

The new AMD Ryzen AI 9 CPU will enable AI features for gamers including background blur and eye-gaze correction with low power consumption, while the NVIDIA RTX 4070 laptop GPU will enable features including DLSS super resolution, frame generation, and ray reconstruction.
