LG brings Sky News, Fox Sports News and more to their Smart TV line-up

Following the launch of Sky News Now on Samsung Smart TV’s last year, LG have today announced Sky News Now will join their LG Channels line-up.

The launch will see Sky News, Sky News Weather, Sky News Election Channel and FOX SPORTS News launch on LG Channels as a Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) offering.

The inclusion of the new offerings will see LG’s Channels service which launched earlier this year alongside their 2024 range, now offering over 90 FAST channels for LG Smart TV customers.

Tony Brown, General Manager, Home Entertainment & Content Business Marketing at LG Electronics Australia commented:

Our vision for connected TVs merges innovative technology with superior content accessibility. LG Channels delivers greater content variety at no extra cost, integrating the latest technological advancements to ensure our customers have access to a wide variety of news and entertainment. Our dedication to innovation and excellence in TV technology enhances every viewing experience, making it more enjoyable and engaging for our customers.”

LG Smart TV users can watch Sky News Now via the LG Channels app and the new Sky News content will be available through Channel 105. The full suite of Sky News channels is still available via Foxtel and Flash. Sky viewers can also stream four dedicated news channels produced by Sky News through the SkyNews.com.au Streaming Subscription service.
