Building on the back of the iconic G305 gaming mouse, Logitech have today announced their latest innovation, the Logitech G309 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse.
Launching under their gaming focused Logitech G brand, the G309 is a premium designed mouse in black or white colour options, featuring a new form factor ibased on feedback from gamers. Logitech designers have changed the shape improving claw and palm grip to make it easier to rest your hand, while still making it easy and light to grip.
Alongside the new design, the G309 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse offers dual-wireless connectivity incorporating both Bluetooth and Logitech’s Lightspeed technology.
The Lightspeed technology offers a steady, reliable wireless connection for gamers with low latency, with precision controls thanks to the new LIGHTFORCE hybrid optical-mechanical switches for improved speed & reliability, as well as the Logitech G’s HERO 25K sensor offering enhanced sensitivity up to 25,600 DPI with no acceleration or smoothing.
Logitech are also introducing a new trick with the Lightspeed dongle, offering multi-device connectivity so you can connect two LIGHTSPEED devices to one receiver. Using the G-Hub software you can configure both devices, allowing you to save a USB port while streamlining your connections.
The mouse is powered by a single AA battery giving up to 300 hours of use using the precision Lightspeed connection, or over 600 hours on Bluetooth – but it also includes a supercapacitor, letting you remove the battery and power it using the Logitech G PowerPlay Wireless Charging System – a mat that wirelessly charges your mouse while you play, though it’s sold separately.
Logitech are also introducing a new trick with the Lightspeed dongle, offering multi-device connectivity with their keyboards including G515 TKL, G715, G915, G915 TKL, Pro X 60 and Pro X TKL Using the G-Hub software you can configure both devices, allowing you to save a USB port while streamlining your connections.
The Logitech G309 LIGHTSPEED Wireless Gaming Mouse is available to pre-order from today at LogitechG.com for $149.95
