LG introduces a new All-in-One cleaning solution at IFA 2024

LG has this week introduced their new all-in-one vacuum cleaning solution with the new LG CordZero All-in-One Tower Combi alongside its newest “all-in-one” robot vacuum and mop.

The All-in-One Tower Combi solution features LG’s Dual Auto Empty function which automatically empties the bins of both the stick vacuum and robot vacuum.  The Combi also charges both vacuums when they are docked and aims to provide a compact docking station for all the vacuums you may need.

The All-in-One Tower Combi solution is similar to the new entry into the vacuum market we saw this week from Ecovacs with their T30 Pro which has a shorter stick vac in the same dock as a robot vacuum.  I like this new trend because as good as robot vacuums are they can’t do everything and don’t clean as deeply as some hand held options (plus it’s hard to vacuum a couch or a car with a robot vacuum).

The new CordZero A9X which can be docked on the above Tower Combi, includes LG’s Smart Inverter Motor to provide a powerful clean.   It creates a rapid spinning action to generate strong suction to pick up even the most stubborn dirt and debris.  The mop also includes Spray Mop to allow for efficient mopping on hard floors.

The new CordZero R5 robot vacuum includes a mop as well so it can vacuum and mop simultaneously thanks to an automated water supply system from an included water tank.  The robot vacuum also includes a 360 LiDAR sensor and a front-facing camera to navigate your house and its furniture.  Through these it can recognise obstacles to help it clean effectively.

The robot vacuum can provide an impressive 10,000Pa of suction power while also rotating the mop at 180 revolutions per minute to help keep your house clean.

The two new vacuum cleaners and All-in-One Tower Combi are being displayed at IFA in a few weeks time.  Look for them to arrive in Australia not long after.
