Tineco launches new wet and dry vacuum range at Harvey Norman

Floorcare solution brand Tineco has announced a big expansion in Australia with it’s range heading into Harvey Norman from this week, including a new “FlashDry” system for it’s Floor One S6 which is a game-changer.

When buying appliances there’s a real touch and feel process for a vast majority of people, so having products stocked at Harvey Norman exposes the Tineco brand to a huge new audience.

Australian homes have vast hard floor spaces, which makes the cleaning process in some way’s easier, but at the same time there’s still nothing great about having to clean up after a spill while cooking or when the kids are eating.

Tineco’s wet and dry products make it easy to simply glide over the surface and clean it all up with one device and not get your hands dirty.

However, my own personal observation of these wet and dry style products is that there’s a big job to be done after use in actually cleaning the cleaner – you need to wash the mop head, and also clear out the dirty water container.

One new product from Tineco really seems appealing to me in that regard, it’s the Tineco Floor One S6 FlashDry.

Using all the great performance and capabilities of the Tineco range which has grown and improved year on year for some time, this new device has a more advanced “dock”. You sit it down, and the “self clean” cycle allows the mop head to be cleaned with hot water for two minutes, followed by a five minute drying process.

All that means the mop is sitting, clean, ready and no smell waiting for the next use.

Additionally there’s a decent 40 minute runtime as well which is more than enough to get to all those spots and spills and make the floors ready for those last minute visitors.

Along with that at Harvey Norman is the new Floor One S7 Steam, which uses 140 degree steam to tackle the mess on your floor, including those sticky and well set stains.

Down the range are the Floor One S5 Extreme which has a brush roller at the edge of the head to reach right into corners, and a dual-tank system for an always fresh water clean.

And the iFloor 2 is a simple, cordless vacuum that washes floors at the same time in one click.

The iFloor 2 is $399, S5 Extreme $749, the S6 FlashDry is $899 and the Steam S7 comes in at $1199.
