Ford Everest gets the Tremor treatment: off-road edition coming soon

Ford has given its Everest four-wheel-drive the off-road treatment.

While not quite a fully fledged Ford Ranger Raptor twin, the 2025 Ford Everest Tremor edition gets specialised off-road suspension, tyres and underbody protection – while maintaining the 3.5-tonne towing capacity.

Unlike the Ford Ranger Tremor ute which is a limited edition, the Ford Everest Tremor four-wheel-drive wagon will become a permanent part of the local line-up.

It is due to arrive in Australian showrooms in November 2024, pending any delays.

All models will be powered by Ford’s turbo-diesel 3.0-litre V6 engine (184kW/600Nm) paired to a 10-speed automatic transmission, now with a rock-crawl function.

However, buried in the fineprint, this version of the TDV6 will require regular top-ups of AdBlue diesel exhaust mitigation fluid.

Ford says the vehicle will be available in ‘Command Grey’ (pictured), which looks similar to ‘Conquer Grey’ from the Raptor.

Ford says customers can further personalise their Tremor with a range of factory-fit options, including the Rough Terrain Pack featuring ARB accessories, a Touring Pack, a Premium Seat Pack, and a Towing Pack.

Prices for the ‘MY2025.25’ Ford Everest Tremor are as follows:

  • RRP: $76,590 plus on-road costs such as registration and stamp duty
  • Rough Terrain Pack (heavy duty ‘hoopless’ bull-bar, pictured at the bottom of this story): $3500
  • Touring Pack: $2500
  • Premium Seat Pack: $1100
  • Towing Pack: $1900
  • Premium Paint: $700

Highlights outlined by Ford:

  • Bilstein Position-Sensitive shock absorbers, new springs
  • General Grabber AT3 All-Terrain Tyres
  • The tyres and the revised suspension deliver 26mm of extra ground clearance
  • Rock Crawl Drive Mode
  • Honeycomb grille with auxiliary LED lamps
  • Steel bash plate
  • Heavy-duty side steps
  • Signature Tremor badging

Ford says it will release more details closer to local showroom arrivals.
