eufy unveils new S-Series robot vacuums, launching the S1 Pro with self-cleaning mop

Eufy have taken the wraps of their latest robot vacuum cleaners, announcing the new high-end S-Series robot vacuum cleaners offering high-tech advancements and innovative capabilities. The first in the line is the new eufy S1 Pro offering a new square design to get into corners, and a new self-cleaning mop roller.

The new design has a low-profile, standing just 96mm tall, letting it scoot in under your furniture, while the new square design lets it easily get into corners and get to within 1cm of your walls and corners.

The unit includes the Uni-Clean base station, capable of holding your clean water tank which is now transparent for easy monitoring, as well as up to 68 days of storage in the dust bag.

The eufy S1 Pro has a new trick for washing floors with the new TurboWash Roller Mop, which can spin at up to 170 RPM to get those hard stains – and cleans itself with a mix of cleaning solution and ozone water. The roller mop can also lift itself up to 12mm from the floor so it can avoid medium pile carpets while continuing to vacuum.

The Ozone Water comes from the generator built-in to the station, offering up to a 99.99% sterilisation rate to keep those floors sparkling clean.

The vacuum itself is capable of incredible suction, offering up to 8,000pa and is equipped with two side brushes to direct the dirt and dust, and a detangling brush to reduce hair entanglement.

There’s been improvements  to mapping and obstacle avoidance, with the S1 Pro able to build a 3D model of your home. The vacuum can also identify different household objects including shoes, toys – and Pet ‘Messes’ letting the vacuum avoid them instead of getting caught on – or worse, spreading them.

The robot vacuum is controlled by the eufy Clean app – available for Android and iOS – which offers a host of features including multi-floor mapping, spot cleaning, custom cleaning modes, scheduling and more – as well as keeping your UniClean Station and S1 Pro up to date with the latest firmware.

You can get your hands on the eufy S1 Pro from today through JB Hi Fi, The Good Guys and eufy.com/au for $2,699.
