LEGO teams up with Formula 1 officially from 2025

LEGO Group and Formula 1 have announced a multi-year partnership which will see LEGO activating across various Grand Prix from 2025 and will likely see plenty more LEGO F1 cars available to buy and build.

For years LEGO has had F1 cars as sets to buy, their recent partnership with McLaren has seen a vast range of products including the Technic McLaren, built life-size a few years back and the recent McLaren P1 made from LEGO. What’s next – we’ll have to wait and see.

Basically though, expect more, much more.

If you go to events there’ll be interactive fan zones, and I suspect a real focus on the engineering and technical aspects of LEGO which align with F1’s push to find the next great engineers for their sport.
