The Samsung Galaxy Ring confirmed for Australia in October

One of Samsung’s most innovative new products, and it’s most teased, is finally set for launch in Australia with an announcement that we’ll see it in Mid-October.

The Galaxy Ring was first shown in January at the launch of the Galaxy S24, then again at the launch of the Z Fold series a few months ago, and even at IFA in Berlin just last week Samsung showcased it’s amazing new technology.

While the mid-October date is vague, it’s an important milestone to firstly confirm the device will come to Australia, but also to prepare people for what they need to do if they want to buy one.

Samsung is making the Galaxy Ring available exclusively through their online store at Samsung.com and their own Samsung Experience Stores around Australia with Australia the first country in the South East Asia and Oceania region to release the device and the company is asking people to register now for more information on the launch.

One of the challenges of selling the Ring is sizing, so Samsung has a “Sizing Kit” which EFTM understands will be sent to prospective buyers ahead of their final size selection. There are nine sizes, from five to 13 and Samsung recommends wearing a sizing kit ring for at least 24 hours before making the final choice.

After that, it’s a choice of three colours Titanium Black, Silver or Gold.

While we don’t have a specific date, or a price yet, what we do know is that the Samsung Galaxy Ring does not have a monthly subscription attached to it, as other competitor products do.
